DiBella Entertainment is holding a big boxing event on Saturday, June 4th. The Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia will host the 12-bout event which will technically be on Sunday, June 5th local time. Due to the time difference, the main card will begin at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday and the ring walks for the main event are tentatively scheduled for 11 p.m. ET. The highly anticipated main event will be an undisputed lightweight title fight between George Kambosos Jr.and Devin Haney.
Kambosos enters this bout with a 20-0 record since his debut back in 2013, registering 10 knockouts over 130 total rounds. His last win came back in November of 2021 when he took down the previously undefeated Teofimo Lopez by split decision. He’s a slight underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook, with his odds to win at +140.
Haney’s odds to win sit at -170 heading into fight weekend, also entering this bout undefeated with a 27-0 record over his career. He last defeated Joseph Diaz for the WBC lightweight title back in December of 2021, winning his last four bouts ending with a win by unanimous decision.

George Kambosos Jr. vs. Devin Haney round-by-round results
Round 1: Haney 10-9
The fight is underway and the boxers meet in the middle of the ring as they start to feel each other out. Haney is looking to establish a left jab early. Haney and Kambosos each exchange lefts with Haney connecting a jab right through the guard of Kambosos. The fighters wrap up and Haney lands another left. Kambosos lands a flurry of punches. Haney lands a final right hook and left jab combo as the round ends.
Round 2: Kambosos 10-9, 19-19
Haney opens the round continuing to lean on that left hook. He lands a few clean, but Kambosos looks like he is going to swing for the fences early. He grazes Haney and then connects more fully later in the round to stun his opponent. Haney responds with more jabs. They wrap up a few more times as the round winds down and Kambosos goes for more quick strikes.
Round 3: Haney 10-9, 29-28
The round begins similar to the others with Haney leading with left jabs and both fighters looking to work off counters. Haney is looking a little more aggressive working in strong right hooks. Kambosos catches him on the chin when he comes in. They dance around each other the rest of the round not landing any meaningful shots.
Round 4: Kambosos 10-9, 38-38
This round begins with shots exchanged by both boxers. Haney is still looking to work off his left jab while Kambosos is working solely off counters and not trying to establish any sort of shot or rhythm. Haney lands a good body shot after Kambosos grazed him with a solid right. Kambosos connects with a solid right hook, but it doesn’t faze Haney. This was a better round for Kambosos and he ties it up through four.
Round 5: Kambosos 10-9, 48-47
Haney isn’t guarding with both gloves and is relying on head movement as his main defense. Kambosos has caught him perfectly a few times when Haney has dodged low. Kambosos connects on a few more shots, but the fighters keep getting entangled and separated. Haney continues to land jabs, but he didn’t land a big shot this round.
Round 6: Kambosos 10-9, 58-56
They both continue to exchange blows between jabs and hooks. Kambosos is able to connect a solid left hook that causes Haney to wrap up instantly. Haney switches it up and goes after a body shot with a jab. Kambosos lands a left jab on Haney’s chin. Haney thinks Kambosos hit him low, but the ref doesn’t give it to him. Kambosos grazes him with another shot before the bell.
Round 7: Haney 10-9, 66-67
Haney hits a solid uppercut as the round behind and we are quickly in another tie-up. Is this a record? They are seemingly constantly in a tie-up. Kambosos hits a right hook to the body. Haney lands a nice little combo, but Komboso responds with a right hook. Haney lands two quick shots right to Komboso’s face. Haney looked like he was able to rebound in this round.
Round 8: Haney 10-9, 76-76
Haney continues striking left jabs together right to the nose of Kambosos. He responds with some punches, but Haney lands a solid hook. Kambosos tries to generate some offense, but nothing sustainable. Kambosos comes on strong at the end of the round to keep it close. Haney did enough to tie it up though.
Round 9: Kambosos 10-9, 86-85
They exchange shots with Kambosos hitting an uppercut and Haney continuing with jabs. Haney ends up on the mat after a tie-up, but I don’t think it was a knockdown. It looked like the ref instantly waved it off as Kambosos shoved him down after a strong shot. Neither fighter is blocking at this point and each one is looking for a big counter to make a statement. Kambosos back on top after a solid right.
Round 10: Kambosos 10-9, 96-94
Kambosos looks for another wild overhand right but misses. He and Haney exchange jabs, but Kambosos lands a quick left hook right to the chin and follows it up with an over-the-top right hook. Kambosos looks like he held Haney and tried to get a cheap shot in and the ref warned him about it. They come out exchanging blows, but Kambosos has the cleanest landing. Haney lands a shot and Kambosos ends the round grazing him with an uppercut.
Round 11: Haney 10-9, 104-105
They exchange good left hooks early. More tie-ups ensue in the first half of the round as each fighter continues to land some jabs. Haney lands some quick shots at the end of the round and that should be enough to see it go his way. Haney sticks his tongue out at Kambosos as the round ends.
Round 12: Kambosos 10-9, 115-113
The final round begins with the crowd getting hyped up. Each fighter is looking for a big shot to not leave it in the hands of the judges. Early on, they land jabs but Kambosos gets a few solid left hooks in. The crowd tries to get them to go at it and Kambosos lands a few hits. This is going to be an interesting decision. I thought that Kambosos did enough for the win, but the announcers are saying this is a clear victory for Haney. We go to the cards.
