Trevor Bryan vs. Daniel Dubois: Dubois wins by fourth-round TKO

UPDATE: Dubois wins by fourth-round TKO.

Don King Promotions will hold a boxing PPV on Saturday, June 11th. The card will feature eight total bouts with the main event consisting of a huge heavyweight fight. Trevor Bryan will defend his undefeated 22-0 record as well as his WBA regular heavyweight title against Daniel Dubois.

The Casino Miami Jai Alai in Miami, Florida will host the event. It will air on, will start at 8 p.m. ET and is available for purchase for $29.99. Along with the main event, there will be two other title fights on the card. Johnnie Langston will face Isaiah Thompson for the NABA cruiserweight title while Travis Castellon will defend his NABA welterweight title against Tre’Sean Wiggins.

The 17-1 Dubois is a -1600 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook while the 22-0 Bryan is a +850 underdog even though he holds the belt. Below is a list of full pre-fight odds. We’ll be providing full round-by-round results throughout the 12-round bout.

Trevor Bryan vs. Daniel Dubois round-by-round results

Round 1: Dubois 10-9

The big boys meet in the ring and this one is underway. Dubois connects with a combo and Bryan looks shaken. Dubois follows up with a heavy right hook, but Bryan doesn’t lose his feet. Dubois hits another straight left and a minute and a half into this fight, Bryan hasn’t landed anything. Bryan is on the rope taking shots and he isn’t putting up much of a fight. Bryan looks to finally land one left, but Dubois is in control of this one.

Round 2: Dubois 10-9, 20-18

Bryan comes out swinging at the opening bell and is showing at least some life. Dubois continues his pace, but Bryan is starting to ramp up his offense landing combos. Bryan looks more with it and active, but Dubois takes another landing more shots.

Round 3: Dubois 10-9, 30-27

It’s Dubois this time that comes out firing and lands a heavy right. He continues to walk down the champ Bryan and is landing more shots. Bryan isn’t taking that many BIG shots, but Dubois is taking the rounds because Bryan is looking for an opening to land his shot. Dubois is working off a strong left jab and it is working early. Dubois rocks him with a left and follows it up with a big right sending Bryan to the ropes. Dubois is looking for a knockout blow, but it doesn’t come. He hits an uppercut and left hook as the bell tolls giving him three round wins in a row.

Round 4: Dubois TKO

Someone got in Bryan’s ear in his corner because he at least is trying left jabs to start the round. Unfortunately, Dubois is also still setting up his strong left jab and is looking for a strong right hook. Bryan got shaken by a left hook from Dubois. Bryan finally gets a lick in, but Dubois counters with a big shot and this one is OVER. Ref stops it and we have a new WBA heavyweight champ.
