The Kansas City Chiefs added some talent during the 2022 NFL Draft who should have a fantasy impact for this upcoming season. Before we dive into what impact these rookies could have on the Chiefs in 2022, let’s look back at last season.

The Chiefs have a massive hole to fill in their offense as they traded speedy All-Pro receiver to the Dolphins. They signed veteran wideouts JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to mitigate the loss of Hill and they’ll join Mecole Hardman in the receiver room. KC also lost Byron Pringle to the Bears in free agency.

The team also added running back Ronald Jones II to add depth, effectively replacing Darrell Williams. He’ll share carries with Clyde Edwards-Helaire and there’s a potential for them to cancel each other out as viable fantasy options.

Fantasy football impact

The Chiefs waited until the end of the second round to get some receiver depth with Skyy Moore. Some thought he’d potential go in the first round. He’ll be thrown into the mix with several other receiving options for Patrick Mahomes, so he’ll have to fight for targets.
