The “Showcase of the Immortals” has once again arrived for the WWE with Wrestlemania 38 taking place from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. Like the last two years, this is a two-night event with Night 1 taking place on Saturday and Night 2 taking place on Sunday.

Saturday’s show wrapped up right around midnight it was special. The main event segment of the Kevin Owens Show with Stone Cold Steve Austin turned into an actual match and it exceeded everyone’s wildest expectations.

We also got two incredible matches for the women’s championships and the return of Cody Rhodes, who revealed himself as Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent.

Here are the matches and results from Night 1 of Wrestlemania 38:

Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Kevin Owens via pinfall

WE’RE GOING ALL CAPS FOR THIS ONE. THE KEVIN OWENS SHOW TURNED INTO AN ACTUAL MATCH!

WE HAD A WALKING BRAWL. WE HAD TABLE SPOTS. WE HAD AUSTIN DRIVING KEVIN OWENS UP THE STAGE WITH HIS ATV. WE HAD AUSTIN TAKING A SUPLEX ON THE CEMENT FLOOR.

AND IN THE END, THE TEXAS RATTLESNAKE HIT KO WITH THE SUNNER TO SEND US HOME.

Smackdown Women’s Championship - Charlotte Flair (c) defeated Ronda Rousey via pinfall

This was a physical and methodical matchup and the champ stayed the champ by downing Rousey.

Flair had to cheat to retain versus the “Baddest Women on the Planet”, so this feud isn’t over.

Cody Rhodes defeated Seth Rollins via pinfall

THE RUMORS WERE TRUE.

We can stop speculating. Cody Rhodes is back in the WWE and revealed himself as Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent. The “American Nightmare” picked up the huge win over the “Architect” in front of a raucous AT&T Stadium crowd that was ecstatic to see him return.

They even let him keep his AEW music.

This was a fun piece of business. After hitting multiple Crossroads, Rhodes paid homage to his father by hitting the Bionic Elbow before putting Rollins down with another Crossroads for the win.

Raw Women’s Championship - Bianca Belair defefeated Becky Lynch (c) via pinfall

It’s going to be hard to top what Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch just did. In an incredible match, Bianca Belair put down Becky Lynch with the K.O.D. to become the new Raw Women’s Championship.

Seriously, go back and watch this match when you get the chance. An amazing piece of business here.

Both women had grand entrances, with Lynch entering by way of a car while Belair had the Texas Southern band introduce her.

Logan Paul and The Miz defeated The Mysterios via pinfall

The first celebrity at ‘Mania comes out victorious as Paul and The Miz defeated the Mysterios.

Paul drew the most heel heat midway through the bout when he impersonated the late Eddie Guerrero by doing the “Three Amigos” suplexes and hit a frogsplash.

He soon got his comeuppance when getting hit by a double-619. Unfortunately for the faces, Miz came up fro, behind and hit Rey with a “Skull-Crushing Finale” for the win.

After the match, Miz turned on Paul by giving him a “Skull-Crushing Finale” of his own.

Drew McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin (w/ Madcap Moss) via pinfall

D-Mac picked up the win here in a match that picked up towards the end. McIntyre notably became the first person to kick of the End of Days and after hitting the Claymore, he became the first person to defeat Corbin under the Happy gimmick.

Smackdown Tag Team Championship - The Usos (c) defeated Shinsuke Nakamura/Rick Boogs via pinfall

The Usos are still your Smackdown Tag Team Champions in your Wrestlemania opener. The match turned when Rick Boogs’ knee gave out, alowing for the champs to go two-on-one against Nakamura and pick up the win.

We got a pretty sick Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs entrance sponsored by Mike’s Hard Lemonade? Alright.

Hours before the show, Logan Paul has revealed what he’ll be wearing for his tag team matchup.
