The Golden State Warriors were able to find their championship mojo this season as the trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green eventually returned to the floor together. However, they were incomplete as a trio far too often as all three players missed time dealing with injuries. Curry is the one who is sidelined at the moment. He’s been dealing with a toe issue since mid-March and was shut down for the final five games when the Warriors re-evaluated him.

April 15: The Warriors have officially listed Curry as probable for Game 1 Saturday night against the Nuggets. That designation falls in line with what Curry, the team and the coaching staff have said regarding his status.
April 14: Curry tells teammate Draymond Green on his podcast he’s “very optimistic” regarding his chances to play in Game 1. Curry is dealing with a foot injury and Thursday’s scrimmage will ultimately determine what type of injury designation he receives for Saturday’s game.

April 12: The Warriors say Curry could return to practice this week, although his status against the Denver Nuggets in Game 1 is still unclear according to Shams Charania. Curry has been out since mid-March with a toe injury and was recently shut down for the rest of the regular season when he was re-evaluated.
Warriors say Stephen Curry (sprained ligament, bone bruise in left foot) may return to full team practices this week and his status is undetermined for this weekend's Game 1 vs. Nuggets.

Golden State won’t play a game until at least Saturday, which means there will surely be an update on Curry before that time. The Warriors didn’t rule him out for the season, so he is expected to be back with the team at some point. It looks like he could miss a few games in this first series and if the Warriors are winning without him, the team might keep holding him out to allow for a truly full recovery.
