AEW returned to pay-per-view on Sunday with Revolution coming live from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando. 11 matches were on the card, headlined by the AEW World Championship bout between Hangman Adam Page and Adam Cole.

This was first pay-per-view on the AEW calendar in 2022. The last ppv was Full Gear this past November in Minneapolis. That show witnessed Hangman Page win the AEW World Championship by knocking off Kenny Omega, who has been away from AEW television since.

Here are the final results

AEW World Championship - Hangman Adam Page (c) defeats Adam Cole via pinfall

With one Buckshot Lariat, Hangman Page is still your AEW World Champion.

Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, and Sting defeat Andrade El Idolo, Matt Hardy, and Isiah Kassidy via pinfall (Tornado tag)

This was a fun, chaotic match full of spots. The match ended when Darby Allin put down Matt Hardy with the Coffin Drop for the 1-2-3.

Jon Moxley defeats Bryan Danielson via pinfall

This was a well worked match and as promised, both guys bled during the bout. It ended with Mox getting a rollover pin, a finish Danielson was not satisfied with. The two brawled after the match and that brought out...WILLIAM REGAL!

Making his AEW debut since being released by the WWE in January, the wrestling legend demanded the two to stop fighting and shake hands, which they did.

AEW Women’s World Championship - Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. (c) defeats Thunder Rosa via pinfall

By hook or by crook, Britt Baker is still the AEW Women’s World Champion. Rosa had the match won on two separate occasions and both times, Rebel distracted the ref from recording the fall. The champ ultimately hit the challenger with the stomp to win the match.

CM Punk defeats MJF via pinfall (Dog-collar match)

This was the bloodbath everyone anticipated it to be and the veteran took the youngster to school in the blowoff to this blood feud.

The story of this match came at the very end, when Wardlow turned on his boss MJF to help Punk. The Face of the Revolution winner seemingly couldn’t find MJF’s diamond ring when summoned but turned around to give it to CM Punk.

CM Punk decided to channel his Ring of Honor persona with his entrance.

TBS Championship - Jade Cargill (c) defeats Tay Conti via pinfall

Jade Cargill remained undefeated in AEW, putting down Tay Conti in her very first ppv title defense.

We have a new signee in AEW and it’s none other than Shane “Swerve” Strickland.

Wardlow defeats Keith Lee, Orange Cassidy, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricky Starks, and Christian Cage (‘Face of the Revolution’ ladder match)

Wardlow is your winner of the Face of the Revolution ladder match and will challenge for the TNT Championship on the March 16 episode of Dynamite in San Antonio.

AEW World Tag Team Championship - Jurassic Express (c) defeats reDRagon and Young Bucks via pinfall

Jurassic Express managed to survive a competitive three-way tag team match to retain their belts.

The story of this match was reDRagon and Young Bucks having an alliance heading into this matchup, but that quickly deteriorated over the course of the match. The champs were ultimately able to survive the onslaught and escape as the champ.

We’ll see if the Young Bucks or reDRagon will get involved in the main event.

Eddie Kingston defeats Chris Jericho via submission

The main card opened with Eddie Kingston vs. Chris Jericho, where Kingston picked up the biggest victory of his career. He began the match with a half and half suplex that dropped Jericho on his neck and he worked it over until the end of the match, making Jericho tap with a submission.

Before the match, Jericho said he’d shake Kingston’s hand if he lost and when it came time to own up to his word, he walked out of the ring.

House of Black defeats Death Triangle and Erick Redbeard

The final match of the Buy-In saw the trio of Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews emerge victorious over Pac, Penta Oscuro, and Erick Redbeard. The match ended with Black spraying the black mist into Redbeard’s eyes, setting up for King to hit his finisher for the victory.

Hook defeats QT Marshall via submission

Hook made his ppv debut tonight, taking out QT Marshall with the Tazmission.

Leyla Hirsch defeats Kris Statlander via pinfall

The Buy-In got kicked off with Leyla Hirsch taking out an injured Kris Statlander. Hirsch put her down for the 1-2-3 with a moonsault.
