The NBA only has four games on its Thursday night slate, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t a plethora of players to choose from in your DFS lineup. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. It does not matter if you are playing a 50/50 or Double-Up contest, we are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Walker Kessler, Utah Jazz, $4,900
Kessler has been finding himself on the floor more often for the Jazz lately and has been able to maximize his time regardless of how many minutes he gets. He just grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in their win over the Pelicans on Tuesday night, adding 11 points from the floor for a total of 38.5 fantasy points at DraftKings. The rookie has now averaged 30.4 DKFP throughout his last six games with just 22 minutes on the floor per game. Now is a perfect time to throw him in your lineup while he’s still under $5k.
Grayson Allen, Milwaukee Bucks, $4,600
Allen has scored double-digit points from the floor in each of his last four games, racking up an average of 23.4 DKFP per game in that stretch. He shot 100% from the floor (6-for-6) in the Bucks’ win over the Warriors on Tuesday night, adding four rebounds and two assists to bring his fantasy total to 24.5. He’s been playing upwards of 30 minutes each night, so expect to see him get plenty of time in Memphis tonight as he looks to continue his run of solid form.
Terance Mann, Los Angeles Clippers, $4,400
While not incredibly consistent, Mann has turned in some big performances through his last six games. He put up 19 points along with nine rebounds and four assists against the Magic last week, racking up 40.75 DKFP in the process. He’s averaged 20.8 DKFP throughout his last six games, and he’ll go up against a Phoenix Suns team tonight who has lost their last five straight games and are on a severe downward trend.
