We’ve got just four games on Thursday’s slate, which makes for a light injury report. Here’s a look at the day’s injury report, along with the relevant fantasy and betting implications.
NBA Injury Report: November 10
Christian Wood (knee) - OUT
Wood has already been ruled out, which means Dorian Finney-Smith and Maxi Kleber are in line for more minutes.
Bradley Beal (protocols) - OUT
Kristaps Porzingis (groin) - OUT
Update - Porzingis has been ruled out, which means more playing time for Gafford and Hachimura.
Update - Porzingis is now questionable against his former team with a groin injury. If he doesn’t play, that means more minutes for Rui Hachimura and Daniel Gafford.
Beal remains out due to health protocols. That boosts Corey Kispert, Johnny Davis and Will Barton in fantasy/DFS formats.
P.J. Tucker (hip) - available
Update - Tucker is in for the Sixers and will likely handle the most important defensive assignment for the team.
Tucker has been added to the injury report with a hip problem. His potential absence will be felt more on the defensive end, so this likely doesn’t mean much in terms of fantasy/DFS value.
Trae Young (shin) - available
Update - Young is in and will start for the Hawks Thursday.
We’ll see if the Hawks push Young on the second night of a back-to-back. If he doesn’t play, Dejounte Murray and De’Andre Hunter benefit from a fantasy/DFS standpoint.
LaMelo Ball (ankle) - OUT
Cody Martin (quad) - OUT
Gordon Hayward (shoulder) - OUT
This could be a rough one for Charlotte on the second night of a back-to-back set. Fading the Hornets here is the move.
Tyler Herro (ankle) - OUT
Caleb Martin (quad) - available
Update - Herro is out, while Martin is in for the Heat. Strus should get the start for Miami tonight with Herro out.
If Herro sits, look for Max Strus to get the start and play heavy minutes. Martin’s minutes in the rotation would likely be split between Jimmy Butler and Duncan Robinson if he misses this contest.
Damian Lillard (calf) - OUT
Anfernee Simons (foot) - available
Jusuf Nurkic (groin) - OUT
Jerami Grant (ankle) - available
Update - Grant is in while Nurkic is out, but Sharpe is also out. Simons is a high-level fantasy/DFS play, and Grant likely gets heavy minutes as well with some key Blazers out.
Update - Lillard has been ruled out, while Grant and Nurkic are questionable. This elevates Shaedon Sharpe and Simons in DFS lineups. The Portland bigs are still potentially going to take the floor, so we’ll have to wait closer to game time for those designations.
Lillard and Simons played Wednesday, while Nurkic and Grant sat the contest. We’ll see how the Blazers approach this one.
