NXT Halloween Havoc 2022: Final results from October ppv

NXT returned to pay-per-view on Saturday with Halloween Havoc coming from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

Here are the final results from the show:

NXT Championship - Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. JD McDonagh

Winner: Bron Breakker via pinfall

The main event started slow but ended up delivering and in the end, the champ put yet another successful title defense under his belt.

The story of this match was Breakker and Dragunov trying to one up each other with McDonagh trying to capitalize off the two hard hitters battering one another. Each man in this match got near-fall opportunity after near-fall opportunity as the action ratcheted up in the final 10 minutes. The end came when Breakker hit Dragunov with a spear for the win.

NXT Women’s Championship - Mandy Rose (c) vs. Alba Fyre

Winner: Mandy Rose via pinfall

The year-long reign of Mandy Rose continues. Despite going through a haunted house, the champ managed to fend off Alba Fyre to keep the NXT Women’s Championship. Fyre briefly managed to ward off outside interference from Toxic Attraction and hit Rose with a Gory Bomb. Unfortunately for her, the ref was knocked out for the pin. Rose was able to recover and hit her with her finisher, narrowly getting the pinfall victory with the awakened ref.

Julius Creed vs. Damon Kemp (Ambulance match) (If Julius loses, Brutus Creed must leave NXT)

Winner: Julius Creed

Violence. That’s what we got in this match. And in the end, it was Julius Creed who stuffed Damon Kemp into an ambulance to win the match and preserve Diamond Mine in NXT.

Roxanne Perez vs. Cora Jade (Weapons Wild match)

Winner: Roxanne Perez via pinfall

After being stabbed in the back by her former friend three months ago, Roxanne Perez finally got the best of Cora Jade in this hard hitting weapons wild match. The bout crescendo when the two sent each other crashing off a platform and through a table. The match ended when Perez hit Pop Rox onto a chair in the ring for the win.

Apollo Crews vs. Grayson Waller (Casket match)

Winner: Apollo Crews

By one spin of the wheel, it was determined that this feud would be settled in a casket match. And by one close of the lid, Apollo Crews put down Grayson Waller. Both guys got plenty of licks in and at one point, Waller threw Crews through the casket, forcing druids to bring a new one out.

Ahead of the NXT Women’s Championship match later, we got Alba Fyre stalking Toxic Attraction in a haunted house.

North American Championship - Carmelo Hayes vs. Oro Mensah vs. Wes Lee vs. Von Wagner vs. Nathan Frazer (Ladder match)

Winner: Wes Lee

This was a fun ladder match to open things up and in the end, Wes Lee successfully climbed the ladder to become the new North American Champion. The ending sequence saw him fending off two-time champion Carmelo Hayes to claim the gold.
