We’ve still got one game left in the Wild Card round this week with the Cardinals-Rams matchup on Monday night, but the NFL has already released the schedule for the Divisional round. Here, we’ll take a look at when the Divisional round is set to start in the 2022 NFL playoffs.
When does the Divisional round start?
The first game in the Divisional round of the 2022 NFL playoffs will kick off on Saturday, January 22nd at 4:30 p.m. ET. Saturday will feature the Bengals-Titans games at 4:30 p.m. ET followed by the 49ers-Packers game at 8:15 p.m. ET. On Sunday, We’ll see either the Cardinals or Rams face the Buccaneers at 3:00 p.m. ET followed by the Bills-Chiefs contest at 6:30 p.m.
What teams will play in the Divisional round?
There is still one matchup to be decided for the NFC in the divisional round. The No. 6 49ers will travel to Lambeau to face the Packers after securing a win over the Cowboys. The Bucs also get to hold on to their homefield advantage in the second round, as they’ll look to host the winner of Monday night’s showdown between the Cardinals and the Rams.
The divisional round field is already set for the AFC. The Titans, as the No. 1 seed, will emerge following a first-round bye to host the Bengals. The Bills will face the Chiefs on Sunday night to close out the divisional round.
