There are seven games in the NBA for Monday’s slate, with some of the East’s top teams in action. The Bucks, Nets and 76ers are all considered contenders in the conference and will look to keep their winning ways going to start the week. Here’s a look at Monday’s injury report in the association, with health and safety protocols still dominating the list.

NBA Injury Report: January 10

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Charlotte Hornets

Jrue Holiday (ankle) OUT
Grayson Allen (protocols) TBD
Pat Connaughton (protocols) expected to play

Update - Connaughton is expected to play after a stint in the protocols. He’s a value play with Holiday out.

The Bucks won’t have Holiday, which means LaMelo Ball will probably see Khris Middleton on him more defensively. Allen and Connaughton remain in protocols but could be cleared at any point.

Kelly Oubre Jr. (protocols) OUT

Update — The Hornets placed Oubre into protocols on Monday and he won’t play tonight vs. the Bucks. We could see more Charlotte players land in protocols, though most of the team has gone through already. Most of the top plays on the Hornets get a bump with no Oubre. LaMelo Ball ($9,300) continues to be overpriced compared to his production in DFS. Miles Bridges ($7,400) feels like a strong tournament option. Cody Martin ($4,100) could see additional minutes off the bench on the wing.

Utah Jazz vs. Detroit Pistons

Rudy Gobert (protocols) TBD
Joe Ingles (conditioning) OUT
Donovan Mitchell (back) available
Bojan Bogdanovic (finger) available
Jared Butler (protocols) OUT

Update - Mitchell and Bogdanovic are available, along with nine other players as the Jazz are going through a bit of a COVID outbreak. The Monday game is still on as scheduled, but the Jazz are a team to monitor.

Gobert and Ingles remain in protocols, while Mitchell and Bogdanovic might be over their recent injuries. Mike Conley is a name to watch for a potential late add to this list as the Jazz try to manage his workload.

Bol Bol (unknown) OUT

Bol, who was recently acquired by the Pistons from the Nuggets, is not available to make his team debut Monday.

Indiana Pacers vs. Boston Celtics

Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) OUT
Chris Duarte (personal) OUT

Update - Brogdon is out, and Duarte is also sidelined for a personal reason. LeVert and Justin Holiday are strong value plays for Indiana Monday.

Brogdon spent some time in the protocols, but had this Achilles injury prior to going in. Caris LeVert and Chris Duarte are strong plays in fantasy and DFS formats if Brogdon cannot go.

San Antonio Spurs vs. New York Knicks

Derrick White (protocols) TBD
Keldon Johnson (protocols) TBD
Devin Vassell (protocols) TBD
Josh Primo (quad) Available

Update - The Spurs added Primo to the injury report but he’s probable with a quad issue and remains a good value play in fantasy and DFS formats.

The Spurs trio remains sidelined with the league’s health and safety protocols. Look for Dejounte Murray, Josh Primo and Lonnie Walker to keep getting more minutes for San Antonio.

Kemba Walker (knee) OUT
Nerlens Noel (conditioning) OUT
Evan Fournier (thigh) Available

Update - Fournier is good to go for Monday’s game.

Update - Walker and Noel have been ruled out, while Fournier is a game-time decision. It might be a good idea to pivot to the Spurs on the game lines for this one if the Knicks are shorthanded.

Walker was out with the knee injury for a few games, so it’s nice to see him listed as questionable. Noel has been in the conditioning stage for a bit as well, while Fournier only recently picked up this thigh issue.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Houston Rockets

Shake Milton (back) OUT
Tyrese Maxey (protocols) TBD
Seth Curry (ankle) OUT

Update - Curry has been ruled out. Niang and Korkmaz are the likely replacement plays here.

Update — Curry is now on the report with an ankle injury and is questionable to play tonight vs. the Rockets. Milton is already out and we’re waiting on Maxey’s status. If Maxey, Milton and Curry are sidelined, Georges Niang ($3,400), Isaiah Joe ($3,000) and Furkan Korkmaz ($4,900) all become good options.

Maxey is in protocols, while Milton is officially out. Seth Curry is the value play here if Maxey cannot go.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Sacramento Kings

De’Aaron Fox (shoulder) Available

Update - Fox will start, and it looks like his shoulder issue was a minor one.

Fox had this issue over the weekend and while he played in Sunday’s game, the Kings might take the cautious approach with their best player and biggest trade asset.

Darius Garland (back) expected to play

Garland was a late add to the injury report. He’s expected to play but is dealing with a back issue so it’s worth monitoring for the Cavaliers.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Kyrie Irving (road game) Available
LaMarcus Aldridge (foot) OUT
James Harden (knee) OUT

Update - Harden has been unexpectedly ruled out for Monday’s game with knee hyperextension, according to Marc Stein.

Irving can play since the Nets are on the road. Aldridge would like to suit up against his former team, but Blake Griffin and Nic Claxton are the players to pick up if he cannot go.

Damian Lillard (injury management) OUT
Norman Powell (protocols) OUT

Lillard is out for eight more games, further denting Portland’s slim playoff chances. Powell entered protocols Sunday, so he’s probably out for Monday’s game.
