After taking down LSU in last week’s conference opener, Auburn will try to keep the momentum going at South Carolina.

The No. 9 Auburn Tigers picked themselves up a huge victory to open SEC play last week and will look to keep that momentum forward tonight when visiting the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Auburn (12-1, 1-0 SEC) made a statement opening conference play last Wednesday when dominating previously undefeated LSU for a 70-55 victory. The Blue and Orange Tigers led throughout the contest and held their counterparts from Baton Rouge to just 26.1% shooting from the field. Walker Kessler had a fantastic outing for Auburn, putting up a triple double with 16 points, 11 blocks, and 10 rebounds.

South Carolina (9-3) is participating in its first SEC game tonight and will be in action for the first time in nearly two weeks. It last defeated Army 105-75 on December 22, a game where Devin Carter provided 22 points off the bench.
