Veteran G Victor Oladipo has signed a one-year contract with the Miami Heat in free agency, according to Shams Charania. Oladipo previously signed a four-year, $85 million deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder, which he ended up starting with the Indiana Pacers after OKC traded Oladipo to Indiana in the Paul George deal.

The guard was traded to the Houston Rockets as part of a four-team trade centered around James Harden, before being moved to the Miami Heat after 20 games in Houston. Oladipo played just four games with the Heat before suffering a season-ending quad injury. His future is in question, although it is likely he does return to the court at some point early next season.

Oladipo, when healthy, was one of the top players in the league. He averaged 19.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game last season. In the last three seasons, Oladipo is averaging 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. His injury concerns are still significant and he may not be the same player ever again, even if he returns and gets a clean bill of health.
