The blue brand will put the finishing touches on its build for the marquee pay-per-view event before descending upon Allegiant Stadium for the weekend’s festivities.

How to watch

Date: Friday, August 20
Time: 8 p.m. ET
Network: Fox

Last week’s episode ended with a contract signing for the Smackdown Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam between Sasha Banks and champion Bianca Belair where with the “Boss” successfully orchestrated a 3-on-1 beatdown of the champ with the help of Zelina Vega and Carmella. After being put on the receiving end of the “Banks Statement” with her own hair, Belair is bound to be on a rampage for tonight’s show heading into the ppv.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and John Cena got into a war of words that set Twitter abuzz last Friday night, with Cena breaking the fourth wall and going off script to roast the champ before ultimately bringing it back to their matchup in Las Vegas where he claimed that all he needed to do was hang with Reigns until the very end. We’ll see what both superstars have to say tonight before their epic clash.

Seth Rollins antagonized SummerSlam opponent Edge last week by showing a video illustrating all the reasons why he’s superior to the WWE Hall of Famer. We’ll see if Edge shows up to deliver a rebuttal just 24 hours before their showdown at Allegiant Stadium.
