When is the next Ted Lasso episode released on Apple TV?

We’ve got the latest on Ted Lasso, Episode 5.

The always phenomenal Ted Lasso is nearing the halfway point of its second season with episode 5 being released on Friday, August 20. The episode, titled “Rainbow”, is expected to be available for streaming at Apple TV starting at around 3 a.m. ET on Friday morning.

We’ve put together a 10-question free pool at DraftKings Sportsbook for people to make their predictions for what will happen in the new episode. We don’t have much in the way of specifics yet as to what the episode will entail. The episode description at Apple TV says, “Nate learns how to be assertive from Keeley and Rebecca. Ted asks Roy for a favor.” Additionally, there are some promotional photos from the episode.

The list of questions includes only one that is specifically to what happens on the pitch — specifically, will AFC Richmond win a match in the episode. Two weeks ago they were stuck on a winless streak dating to the start of the season, but in last week’s Christmas episode, it had fast-forwarded to showing them with 4 wins on the season. The promo pictures appear to show an in-match scene, so we should get some kind of result.

The biggest storyline will likely revolve around whether or not Dubai Air tries to end their sponsorship with the club. In episode 4, the players wore black tape over the sponsor name in protest of the bad deeds their parent company is helping finance in Nigeria — the home country of several Richmond players. The episode ended with everybody in the organization supporting Sam and his teammates, but what will be the consequences of the decision? We’ve got a question in the pool around that.

The funnest question for me is how many times will Roy swear on Sky Sports. He made his Sky Sports debut in episode 4 and cursed up a storm. We’ll see if that continues or if he tones it down a bit. My guess is more the former than the latter!
