The NASCAR Cup Race Series will head to Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, MI, this Sunday, August 2 for the 2021 FireKeepers Casino 400. The green flag is set to drop at 3 p.m. ET. and will televised live on NBCSN.
Cup series leader Kyle Larson (+280) opens as the favorite to take the checkered flag, per DraftKings Sportsbook. He previously won the race in 2017 and is seeking his sixth Cup Series victory of the season as the playoffs draw near. Following him to round out the top five of odds-on favorites are Kyle Busch (+650), Martin Truex Jr. (+750), Chase Elliott (+800), and defending champion Kevin Harvick (+800). Harvick will try to become the first driver to go back-to-back at Michigan International since Denny Hamlin accomplished the feat in 2010/2011.
Two-time winner Joey Logano opens at +1600 while 2015 winner Kurt Busch opens at +2500. AJ Allmendinger, the winner of last week’s Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, will not participate on Sunday.
