The PGA Tour is headed to New Jersey this week for the 55th annual The Northern Trust golf tournament at the Liberty National Golf Club. This marks the first stop of the three-tournament FedExCup Playoffs.
A year ago, Dustin Johnson won the tournament by an incredible 11 stroke margin over Harris English. This year, Jon Rahm (+800) enters as the favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and he’s followed by Jordan Spieth (+1200), Collin Morikawa (+1600) and defending champ, Dustin Johnson, at +1600. Harris English’s odds to win sit at +4000.
Johnson has plenty on the line heading into the Northern Trust Open as he looks to claim a back-to-back FedExCup title. He sits 661 points behind Collin Morikawa, who’s in first place in the 2021 FedExCup Season Standings, with 2000 points on the line at The Northern Trust.
The tournament gets underway on Thursday with tee times starting at 7:20 a.m. ET. You can watch coverage on Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET on PGA Tour LIVE.
