NASCAR’s Xfinity Series returns to action on Saturday, August 14th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard. The race is on a road course, marking the second straight year the circuit is running a road race at Indy instead of a traditional oval race.

The Pennzoil 150 gets underway at 4 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network, but it will be preceded by qualifying at 10:05 a.m. ET on Track Pass. That is available as a streaming service through NBC Sports Gold.

This marks the first pre-race qualifying for the Xfinity Series since July 3rd when the circuit ran the Henry 180 at Road America. Indy is one of eight tracks where NASCAR is running traditional qualifying this season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting at 10:05 a.m., each driver will run one lap with the fastest driver claiming the pole. If a driver has to change cars due to any issue following qualifying but before the race, the car will be moved to the back of the lineup at the start of the race.

Headed into Saturday morning qualifying, Austin Cindric is the favorite to win at DraftKings Sportsbook, installed at +180. He’s followed by A.J. Allmendinger (+220), Ty Gibbs (+450), Daniel Hemric (+1200), and Justin Allgaier (+1400).
