Full undercard for Casimero vs. Rigondeaux title fight

We take a look at what to expect from the full card as John Riel Casimero and Guillermo Rigondeaux for the unification of the bantamweight titles.

John Riel Casimero and Guillermo Rigondeaux take the ring Saturday night with Casimero’s WBO bantamweight title and Rigondeaux’s WBA “regular” bantamweight title on the line. The fight will take place at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, at 10 p.m. Saturday, August 14th. It’s is set to broadcast on Showtime.

The card features a second title fight, as Antonio Russell and Emmanuel Rodriguez square off for the interim WBA bantamweight title. Rodriguez, who has lost his last two fights, will have his hands full when facing the undefeated Russell, who is 18-0 in his professional career.

The third battle will feture Rau’shee Warren trying to capture his third straight victory when tapping gloves with Damien “Sugar” Vazquez. Vazquez last competed last September, when he was TKO’d by WBA world “super” bantemweight champion Brandon Figueroa.
