We go over some of the best MLB teams to stack for DFS on DraftKings for Friday’s main slate.

We have a 14-game slate in the majors Friday, which means there are multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 14 games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.

Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Friday, August 13th.

Brewers vs. Pirates, 7:05 p.m. ET

Eduardo Escobar ($5,900)
Omar Narvaez ($4,500)
Luis Urias ($4,000)
Lorenzo Cain ($3,500)

The NL Central-leading Milwaukee Brewers will be our first team as they prepare to face Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Mitch Keller. Keller has struggled this season to the tune of 3-9 record and 7.06 ERA. His struggles on the mound have carried over to his starts at PNC Park, where he is 2-6 with an ERA of 8.29 and .329 average in 9 outings.

Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain is a quality overall value play in DFS. The veteran currently has a five-game hitting streak and scored 10 or more fantasy points in his last 3 games.

Cardinals vs. Royals, 8:10 p.m. ET

Nolan Arenado ($5,000)
Paul Goldschmidt ($4,700)
Yadier Molina ($3,500)
Paul DeJong ($3,500)

Our second team stack for tonight’s main slate will be another NL Central squad in the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals have won 4 out of their last 5 games, which includes a 3-game series sweep against the Pirates.

St. Louis will look to carry that momentum over to their series opener against Mike Minor and the Kansas City Royals. Minor has not pitched well at home this year, which bodes well for the Cards. The veteran pitcher has a 4-5 record and 5.37 ERA in 11 starts at Kaufmann Stadium. Coincidentally, Minor’s last start came against the Cardinals, where he allowed 5 hits, 4 earned runs (2 HRs), but had 7 strikeouts in 5.0 IP. St. Louis shortstop Paul DeJong is the ultimate boom or bust DFS play for this stack. In his last three games, DeJong has hit 2 HRs and averaging 15.3 FPPG, which supersedes his season average of 6.4 FPPG.

Orioles vs. Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET

Rafael Devers ($5,800)
Xander Bogaerts ($5,400)
Kike Hernandez ($4,800)
Jarren Duran ($3,200)

I want to take the Orioles as our final team stack because Pivetta’s ERA at Fenway Park is 5.80 this season. However, Baltimore has lost eight consecutive games, which means I’m going with the Red Sox. Boston has had their fair share of struggles recently, but here comes the Orioles.

DraftKings Sportsbook believes we could see a ton of runs scored in this game with the run total set at 10.5, which is the highest on the board. The Red Sox will be going up against O’s starter Spenser Watkins, who is 2-3 with an ERA of 4.22 this season. Boston’s team stack is stacked with Rafael Devers and Xander Bogaerts, but keep an eye on Kike Hernandez. In his last four games, he’s averaging 9.0 FPPG.
