Eagles wide receiver has been the star of training camp and he showed it in their first preseason game as he took a Joe Flacco bubble screen 79-yards for a touchdown. Watkins showed off his 4.35 speed as he outran the Steelers secondary with ease.
Quez Watkins with a 79 yard TD!

Watkins has been the talk of camp, especially with first-round draft pick DeVonta Smith out with an injury. Watkins was a sixth-round pick last season and didn’t get much playing time, especially after beginning the season on injured reserve.
You can find plenty of praise for him from Eagles beat writers this summer. NBC Sports Philadelphia writer Dave Zangaro says,
While there are still plenty of question marks about the Eagles’ young receiving corps this season, Watkins has been having the most consistent training camp among the group. And it looks like he’s going to make a serious push to earn some playing time in his second NFL season.
Right now he looks like a lock to get playing time early on this season. And with no other receivers making a splash, maybe he can put up some fantasy football numbers too.
