Arizona ended up going 2-5 down the stretch to ultimately miss the playoffs. After failing to make an impression last season in Pittsburgh, Conner enters a backfield with Chase Edmonds and Ito Smith in Arizona. Edmonds is likely to see more work after breaking out late last year and Smith is usually good for a few carries here and there. Injuries can always render this line moot, but Conner likely won’t see the volume of a lead back if everyone stays healthy. Murray is an able runner as well, further limiting Conner’s opportunities. There’s not great value on either side, but the under looks to be the better play.
