Former Ohio State running back JK Dobbins stepped in as a rookie last season and made his presence felt with the Baltimore Ravens. The young running back was perfect compliment to what they already have in the running game with Gus Edwards and quarterback Lamar Jackson.

But as we enter into this season, can Dobbins improve on what he did in 2020 and establish himself as the lead back in Baltimore? Here, we’ll take a look at the prop bets on the table for Baltimore Ravens RB JK Dobbins on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the 2021 NFL season and make our picks.

1050.5 rushing yards: Over (-120) or Under (-110)

Our pick: Under

Last season, Dobbins emerged as the versatile running back that the Ravens were missing from their offense. The former second round pick had 805 rushing yards on 134 carries and nine touchdowns, along with 18 receptions (24 targets) for 120 yards. Before going on the COVID-19 list for Week 11, Dobbins only had three games where he had 10 carries on more.

But after he came back from the COVID-19 list, Dobbins had five-straight games where he double-digit carries. For him to reach 1,050.5 rushing yards, Dobbins will need to have at least 10 games where he receive 10 or more carries. It’s not fathomable for him to get that number in the Ravens’ offense, but he does share carries with Jackson and Edwards.

9 rushing touchdowns: Over (-130) or Under (+100)

Our pick: Under

After scoring 9 touchdowns last season as rookie, the over could be a tempting play at a juiced -130 odds. However, the best bet would be to take the under for plus-money. Unlike Gus Edwards, who is more of the ground and pound running back, Dobbins makes plays in both the running and receiving games. Last season, he did not have a single receiving TD, but I could see that changing this season, which means that takes away from his rushing touchdowns.
