The Miami Dolphins enter a huge year for head coach Brian Flores and QB Tua Tagovailoa. Flores is looking to make the playoffs after a 10-6 season while Tagovailoa hopes to prove himself as a franchise quarterback. The Dolphins loaded up on receivers for their signal caller, adding Will Fuller and Jaylen Waddle to a group featuring DeVante Parker and TE Mike Gesicki.
Here, we’ll take a look at the prop bets on the table for Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of the 2021 NFL season and make our picks.
750 receiving yards: Over (+100) or Under (-130)
Our pick: Over
A 17-game season makes this a tougher milestone to gauge, but the over is the safer play. The Dolphins should be throwing the ball a lot more and Waddle’s familiarity with Tagovailoa should help. Fuller is more of a deep threat and Gesicki will thrive on red zone opportunities but Waddle might be the most versatile receiver of the group. It will be close, but the Alabama rookie should hit the over if healthy.
5 receiving TDs: Over (+100) or Under (-130)
Our pick: Over
Teams are going to be wary of Gesicki and Parker in the red zone. Waddle is going to get more chances as the season progresses because of this. The number is low enough to where one or two massive games can swing the line completely. As a high draft pick playing with a familiar QB, six touchdowns is not much to ask for.
