The NASCAR Cup Race Series will head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Sunday, August 15 for the 2021 Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. The green flag is set to drop at 12 p.m. ET.
Chase Elliott (+200) opens as the favorite to take the checkered flag per DraftKings Sportsbook and is followed by cup series leader Kyle Larson (+350), who captured his fifth cup series victory of the year at Watkins Glen this past Sunday. Martin Truex Jr. (+600), Kyle Busch (+900), and Denny Hamlin (+1200) round out the top-five of odds-on favorites to take the race.
Kevin Harvick, the winner of the previous two Verizon 200 races, heads into Sunday at +2800 to pull of the three-peat. Only he, Jeff Gordon, and Jimmie Johnson have won the event three times or more in its 27-year history.
Qualifying will take place at 8 a.m. on Sunday, making it one of only eight events with qualifying this season.
