The Seattle Seahawks vs. Russell Wilson storyline dominated the NFL news headlines early this offseason, but that was overshadowed by Deshaun Watson and Aaron Rodgers. It appears everybody is getting along, and we’ll see how that translates to Wilson’s statistics on the field. The Seahawks have traditionally relied more on the running game, and it will be interesting to watch this offense and monitor how often Wilson drops back to pass.

Our pick: Over
Wilson has never thrown for 4,250 yards in his career, but we’re betting he reaches that total in the 2021 season especially with the extra regular season game. Wilson said he expects the offense to be more up tempo, and the quick-passing offense should help him rack up plenty of yards over the course of 17 games.
33.5 passing TDs: Over (-110) or Under (-120)
Our pick: Over
The top two wide receivers on the roster are DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, and both caught 10 touchdown receptions in 2020. With the Seahawks expected to throw the ball more, they could certainly replicate that performance this season. Seattle also brought in tight end Gerald Everett, who had played with the Los Angeles Rams the past four seasons. He should be more of a red zone threat in this offense, and Wilson will throw for more than 33.5 touchdowns for the fourth time in the past five years when this season is all over.
