The Pittsburgh Steelers had a very unique 2020 season, and it will be very interesting to see what they will look like this year. Our pick: Under
Ben Roethlisberger fell short of this total in the 2020 season despite playing in 15 games, and this offense has a number of question marks all over. The offensive line is just about completely restructured, and a new offensive line in front of a 39-year-old quarterback could be an issue. Additionally, the Steelers addressed their running back position through the NFL Draft in the first round with Najee Harris. There is a decent chance this offense tries to move the ball through the running game. The Steelers ranked No. 2 in percentage of plays being passes, and Roethlisberger still threw for only 3,803 yards.
O/U 27.5 TDs (-115)
Our pick: Over
While I think the passing yards under is a fantastic bet, I’m inclined to go after the over 27.5 passing touchdowns. Roethlisberger threw for more than 27.5 touchdowns in four of the last five seasons, but he played just two games in the season he fell short. The Steelers may throw the ball more often in the red zone with tight end Eric Ebron, and they selected Pat Freiermuth with their second round pick.
