How to watch USA vs. Japan baseball on TV and via live online stream

Team USA faces off against Japan on Monday, August 2 in the second round of the Tokyo 2021 Olympics baseball tournament. The top two teams in group play will meet with first pitch scheduled for just after 6 a.m. ET. The game will air live on NBC Sports Network and will be available for live stream at NBCOlympics.com.

The host nation, Japan, is favored to win this one. They are installed as -165 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook while the US is a +145 underdog. Japan is -1.5 on the run line and priced at +130. Team USA is +1.5 and priced at -150. Total runs is installed at 8 with the over slightly juiced to -115.

Tyler Austin currently leads Team USA with a .444 batting averaged and four RBIs. Eddy Alvarez is hitting .375 with a team-leading three runs scored. Nick Martinez and Joe Ryan each have one win to their credit and a combined 14 strikeouts between the two of them.

The winner of this game is likely facing South Korea, who is currently thumping Israel 10-1 in the sixth inning of their second round matchup. The loser of USA-Japan moves into the second round of the loser’s bracket in the double elimination tournament.
