Aaron Rodgers spent last weekend golfing, as he and Bryson DeChambeau defeated Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady in The Match 4. Rodgers of course was asked about his future with the Packers after he let it be known he is displeased with management and skipped mandatory minicamp.

Rodgers didn’t say much when asked if he would be on the field for the Packers come Week 1, but did say, that he didn’t know and added “we’ll see.” At this point the initial shock of Rodgers wanting a trade has worn off and fans are now very much in a holding pattern in concern to his future.

Most reports have had Rodgers steadfast in his desire to not play with Green Bay this season. Peter King, Jay Glazer and other NFL insiders have reported that he appears willing to sit out if it comes down to that. The Packers 2020 first round pick, Jordan Love, would be thrust into the limelight if that were to happen. This story isn’t close to being over though.
