Colombia vs. Argentina opening odds for Copa América 2021 semifinal

Lionel Messi and company will look to advance to the Copa America final for the first time since 2016.

Copa America 2021 has moved into the semifinal stage with Colombia meeting Argentina in the second semifinal. The winner will meet either Peru or Brazil in the final. Argentina is looking to make the final for the first time since 2016. Colombia last made a Copa America final in 2001, the only year they won the competition.

Colombia held Uruguay to a 0-0 scoreline through extra time before ultimately prevailing on penalties. That strategy might not work well against Argentina, especially with Lionel Messi and Lautaro Martinez on the front line. Argentina struggled early against Ecuador, but eventually won comfortably 3-0. Messi is the best player on the pitch and Colombia does not have an answer for him. Expect goals in this one.
