The Euro 2020 quarterfinals continue this weekend as day two has a couple great matchups. Honestly, three of these teams came into the competition as underdogs — nobody fully expected Denmark, Czech Republic and Ukraine to make it to the quarters but here we are with these teams putting on impressive performances while giants like France, Portugal, and Germany have all been eliminated.
Patrik Schick has been crucial for Czech Republic, leading the team with four goals through the first four matches. His opening goal of the tournament was a world-class beauty and the Bayer Leverkusen star has been instrumental for his team ever since when he finished with a brace in their first match. He’s scored four of the team’s five goals thus far, with Tomas Holes adding one of his own in the 2-0 win over the Netherlands. No doubt Denmark will be taking precautions in order to try and keep Schick from even getting a shot off.
In the other match, Raheem Sterling has almost single-handedly brought his team to the quarterfinals, scoring three of the team’s four goals so far in the tournament. Harry Kane added one in the 2-0 win over Germany in the round of 16, but Sterling has been an absolute early standout for the Three Lions.

Best Bet: England to advance (-235)
While Ukraine’s unlikely run has been impressive so far, chances are it will come to an end in the quarters at the hands of England. While England’s attack hasn’t been as potent as expected, it shouldn’t have a lot of trouble taking down Ukraine who has really been sneaking through by the skin of its teeth. Of course, nothing is certain in sports so there’s a slight chance Ukraine could pull off some more magic. If you’re looking for the safest bet, though, look no further than England advancing in this one.
