Gold Cup semifinal action begins Thursday evening when the United States faces off against Qatar for a spot in the final. The match will be televised on FS1 and begin at 7:30 p.m. ET. If you are not in front of a television, FOX.com/live and the Bally Sports app will live stream the match. You’ll need a cable subscription to access both. If you don’t have one , you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the match.
The USMNT has been dominant defensively so far in their Gold Cup matches. The Americans have allowed just one goal through the four games they’ve played, but they haven’t won by large margins. USA won three of these games by a 1-0 score, so even as it enters as the favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, it has proven to be beatable.
Qatar won each of its last three games after a tie against Panama to open up Gold Cup play. The team has played well offensively, scoring multiple goals in all four Gold Cup matches and scored four against Grenada. It will be interesting to see how this attacking offense will go after the USA defense.
