The asking price is going to be high for the All-Star guard. Will he get dealt on Draft Night on Thursday?

The Philadelphia 76ers continue to canvas the NBA in search of a potential trade partner for All-Star PG Ben Simmons, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday afternoon. Simmons and his agent Rich Paul are interested in moving on to a new team. The Sixers’ asking price for Simmons is reportedly high, which could mean talks will leak into the offseason, per Woj. The 2021 NBA Draft is on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. We may see a deal get done before or during the draft if it involves any picks.

The Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves appear to be the most recent teams to pop up in rumors/reports surrounding Simmons. We know the Indiana Pacers offered up a package centered around PG Malcolm Brogdon, which was shot down for whatever reason. The Portland Trail Blazers have been mentioned with Simmons since Damian Lillard isn’t happy and CJ McCollum is entering the final year of his contract.
