Broncos Super Bowl odds: What Denver needs to do to win Super Bowl 56

The Broncos have +2800 odds to win Super Bowl 56 in February 2022. We break down what has to happen for Denver to take home the Lombardi Trophy.

The 2020 Denver Broncos missed the playoffs after a tough 5-11 campaign where they saw just one win in their final six games.

The biggest question mark for Denver is under center, and they did a bit to at least give them insurance by bringing in Teddy Bridgewater in case Drew Lock continues to struggle in his third NFL season. The team also made some big moves in the secondary, signing cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller.

Quarterback issues have plagued this franchise for a while. In the space between John Elway and Peyton Manning, Denver could rarely find a consistent signal-caller. Ever since Manning left, that issue has persisted.

Denver has also had major issues in the defensive backfield. They went above and beyond this offseason, signing a ton of veteran defensive back talent. Now Darby and Fuller join franchised safety Justin Simmons in the Mile High city. They also resigned Kareem Jackson and selected Alabama CB Pat Surtain II in the first round of the NFL Draft. So that part of their squad should be drastically improved.

Whatever QB earns the starting role, he’ll have plenty of great targets at his disposal. With Noah Fant, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hammler and Courtland Sutton at their disposal. The Broncos have an uphill climb to even make the playoffs this season, let alone win the Super Bowl. But if they can find a consistent performer under center and the defense can keep opposing QBs at bay, they might just shock the world.
