Best MLB team stacks for DFS on Tuesday, July 20th

We go over some of the best MLB teams to stack for DFS on DraftKings for Tuesday’s main slate.

Betting Miami over Washington on the moneyline

We have a 15-game schedule in the majors Tuesday, which means there are still multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 13 games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.

Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.

Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Tuesday, July 20th.

Red Sox vs. Blue Jays, 7:07 p.m. ET

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ($6,000)
Marcus Semien ($5,400)
Teoscar Hernandez ($4,200)

After scoring 13 runs and 12 through the first two innings on Monday night, one would think that the Red Sox would be our first DFS team stack for tonight’s slate. However, that is not the case as we are going to go with the Blue Jays, who have a favorable pitching matchup in Boston starter Garrett Richards. DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total currently set at 11.5.

Richards has been a better pitcher on the road this season with a 3.92 ERA in 11 starts. But he’s still letting opponents hit .270 at the plate and has a 5.40 ERA in three games against Toronto in 2021. The Blue Jays are also hitting .338 against Richards this season. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is an easy play as he’s hitting .714 in 7 career at-bats vs. the BoSox starter.

Rangers vs. Tigers, 7:10 p.m. ET

Jonathan Schoop ($4,900)
Akil Baddoo ($3,100)
Harold Castro ($2,600)

Our second DFS team stack will be the Detroit Tigers, who blew out the Texas Rangers 14-0 on Monday night. The Tigers have won four-straight games and outscored teams 27-4 over that period of time. Detroit’s offense should be able to put up some more runs on Rangers starter Dane Dunning.

The Rangers’ rookie pitcher has struggled away from Globe Life Field this season with a 0-4 record and 6.55 ERA. The 26-year-old pitcher faced Detroit earlier this year at home, where he only allowed 1 hit (1 HR), 1 earned run, and had 6 strikeouts in 5.0 IP. But when he’s on the road, opposing teams are hitting .319 against Dunning.

Mariners vs. Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET

Charlie Blackmon ($4,900)
Garrett Hampson ($4,300)
Chris Owings ($3,200)

Our last DFS team stack will be the Colorado Rockies, who are opening up a series against the Seattle Mariners. DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total set at 11, which is one of the highest on the board. The Rockies’ offense should be able to shine against Mariners pitcher Marco Gonzales. The veteran pitcher has struggled tremendously on the road with a record of 1-3, 6.98 ERA, and .286 opponents batting average (4 starts).
