The Milwaukee Bucks are one win away from the franchise’s first title since 1970-71 and will look to close out the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the NBA Finals Tuesday. The Suns are down 3-2 after being up 2-0 and will attempt to win the next two games for the franchise’s maiden championship. Here’s how bettors should approach the spread, over/under and moneyline for Game 6.
Suns vs. Bucks odds, 9 p.m., ABC
Spread: Suns +5
The Suns have actually played well in the last two games and won’t get blown out in this one, even if it’s a road game. Phoenix might not win, but pick the Suns to cover the spread in a desperation game.
Over/Under: 222
This line continues to move up as games keep hitting overs. The 123-119 Game 5 scoreline proves both teams are capable of lighting things up and they’ve been doing so all series long. There’s no reason to think the under will hit here.
Moneyline: Bucks -210, Suns +175
Game 5 was the first instance of the road team winning in this Finals. The Bucks have been insanely good at home and more importantly are in a groove. The Suns are looking stagnant at times offensively and haven’t made the defensive adjustments necessary to counter Milwaukee. Take the home team to close out the Finals Tuesday.
