Group B gets started in Gold Cup play on Sunday, July 12 as the United States takes on Haiti in a game that the Americans are fully expected to win. The game is being played at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, and will be broadcast on FS1.
If you are not in front of a television, FOX.com/live and the Bally Sports app will live stream the match. You’ll need a cable subscription to access both. If you don’t have one , you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the match.
The USMNT gets started on their quest for a seventh Gold Cup title as they’ll face off against Haiti in the first day of group play. Fielding a team mostly consisting of MLS players for this tournament, the United States have gone 7-1-0 so far in 2021 as they’ve been playing in excellent form. Haiti sailed through the two preliminary games, handing a 6-1 loss to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, followed by a 4-1 win over Bermuda.
These two sides haven’t met since 2015 when the United States logged a 1-0 win over the Haitians in Gold Cup play. History isn’t on Haiti’s side, either, as they haven’t recorded a win over the Americans since November of 1973. The USMNT should get the full three points here as they head to what they hope will be a first-place finish in Group B.
