Tracking MLB betting action for Sunday, July 11

We’re adding in all our favorite plays on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s MLB slate.

MLB: Cincinnati Reds at Kansas City Royals Peter Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

The final day before the MLB All-Star Break will take place on Sunday, July 11th with teams looking to head into the league’s unofficial halfway point with momentum. All 30 teams are scheduled to play, and all 15 games are scheduled for the afternoon with no night games.

Here we’re going to be tracking all the best MLB picks based on the odds and lines on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s baseball action.

MLB picks for Sunday, July 11th

Reds vs. Brewers Under 7 runs (+100)

The Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers will close out the final game of a four-game series on Sunday, and runs should be hard to come by. Brandon Woodruff will get the start for Milwaukee with a 2.10 ERA and while Luis Castillo’s numbers are not great with a 3-10 record with a 4.81 ERA for Cincinnati, he has pitched very well as of late. After a bad start to the year, Castillo has not allowed more than three earned runs in a game since May. Six of the Brewers’ last seven games have not gone over seven runs, and we’ll look for that to continue.

Reds (+145) vs. Brewers

Sticking with the same game, there is tremendous value on the Reds in this spot for the reasons given above. Bettors may see Castillo’s high ERA and bad record, but he has been a much different pitcher in his last seven starts. Since June started, he has a 2.03 ERA, which is quite the turnaround from where he began the season. If you’re getting +145 value on a Reds’ victory, that is a tremendous spot to be in especially since Cincinnati beat the Brewers in the last two games.

Robbie Ray Under 8.5 strikeouts (-145)

Toronto Blue Jays starter Robbie Ray is a strikeout pitcher, and the Tampa Bay Rays strike out more than any MLB team. Still, we’re taking the under with a relatively high price. Ray’s two longest starts this season came against Tampa Bay, going seven innings in each. However, he failed to reach eight strikeouts in either of those games. He typically maxes out around six innings of work, and Rays’ batters are familiar with him as this will be their fourth matchup against Ray.
