The US Women’s National Team is taking the field on Thursday in the first of back-to-back friendlies against Mexico before they head to Japan for the 2020 Olympics. The match starts at 7 p.m. ET and will air on FS1. It will be available via live stream at FOX.com/live and on the Bally Sports app.

The Send-Off Series will see the US take on Mexico twice in a row at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Connecticut, with the second game coming on Monday, July 5th. The USWNT heads into this match riding a 42-game unbeaten streak through all competitions, most recently taking down Portugal, Jamaica, and Nigeria in the WNT Summer Series in Texas.

Coach Vlatko Andonovski’s roster features a full-strength squad highlighted by Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, Christen Press, Rose Lavelle, Julie Ertz, and many of the other usual big names. This includes Carli Lloyd, who is the USWNT’s fourth all-time leading scorer, just five goals behind third-place Kristine Lilly and 59 goals behind first-place Abby Wambach. Morgan isn’t far behind Lloyd with 110 goals of her own in her storied international career.

This will be the 40th meeting between these two teams as the USA has absolutely dominated the series with 37 wins, one draw, and one loss against the Mexican side.
