The Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox will begin a three-game series in Chicago starting on Tuesday, June 8th. The White Sox lead the American League Central with a 36-26 record, while the Blue Jays are third in the A.L. East at 30-27. Toronto will give the ball to lefthander Robbie Ray, who is 3-2 with a 3.57 ERA through 10 starts this season. For Chicago, lefty Carlos Rodon will get the start with a 5-2 record and 1.98 ERA in nine starts.

The White Sox are coming off a series in which they won three of four against the Detroit Tigers, while the Blue Jays dropped two of three against the Houston Astros.

Blue Jays vs. White Sox, 8:10 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: White Sox -155

Bettors are getting a solid value with Chicago especially with Rodon on the mound, as he has been fantastic this year. He has allowed one or zero earned runs in seven of his nine starts this season. Ray is coming off a very good start for the Blue Jays, allowing one run in six innings, but he has not been as lights out as Rodon. Let’s go with the home team as the favorites in Game 1. — EB

Player Prop: Carlos Rodon over 7.5 strikeouts (-113)

Robbie Ray will look to contain Chicago’s high-powered offense, while Carlos Rodon will have the tall task of striking out both Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Marcus Semien. Rodon has a favorable strikeout prop at a decent price, which makes it hard to pass up. He has gone over 7.5 strikeouts in 7 out of 9 starts this season for the Southsiders. Rodon will be going up against a Blue Jays’ squad that doesn’t strikeout a ton at 8.30 strikeouts per game this season. — JA
