Kawhi Leonard goes for 45 to force Game 7 vs. Mavericks

The Clippers All-Star would not go quietly and we’ve got at least one Game 7 in the first round coming up on Sunday.

Kawhi Leonard isn’t ready to opt out of that contract just yet! The All-Star forward tied his playoff career high with 45 points to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 104-97 win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 6 of their first-round series on Friday night in Dallas. The game was tight in the fourth quarter before Kawhi took over, finishing an insane 18-of-25 from the floor with 5 3-pointers and 6 rebounds in over 40 minutes.

The Clippers had dropped to plus-money to win the series and now we’ve got a do-or-die Game 7 in Los Angeles on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Clippers covered the spread of -3 despite being on the road and coming off a loss. The road team is 6-0 in this series, which is a first in NBA history. We did not reach the over of 216.5 with 80 percent of the bets on the over, so the public took a hit there.

Perhaps the worst beat for the public was Luka Doncic point props. Two of the most bet on props tonight were Doncic O29.5 points and Doncic O31.5 points. He scored 29 points. The most bet on prop was Doncic O2.5 3-pointers at -200, which didn’t hit either. Doncic lost a lot of people money on Friday night, yikes. The 4th most popular prop? Kawhi O29.5 points at -110, which hit pretty easily. Doncic did make some people money with first basket props at +500, we’ll give him that.
