The Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays will begin a three-game set at 7:05 p.m. ET. Zack Greinke will be on the mound for the Astros, while Hyun Jin Ryu will start for the Blue Jays. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Astros vs. Blue Jays, 7:05 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Blue Jays -130

We will probably be getting one of the better pitching matchups on Friday night when the Houston Astros take on the Toronto Blue Jays in Buffalo, NY. The Astros, who won 3 out of 4 games against the Red Sox earlier this week, will put Greinke on the mound. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays swept the Marlins in two games and have won 4 out of their last 5. Ryu will try to make it a three-game winning streak for Toronto, who has been average at home with a 12-11 record this season.

Greinke will be a tough matchup for the Jays as he is 5-2 with a 3.67 ERA through 12 starts this season. He’s also been dominant on the road with a perfect 3-0 road and 1.26 ERA. As for Ryu, he boasts a 5-2 record and 2.62 ERA this season and he’s been good at home with a 2-0 record and 0.89 ERA. It should be a fun game between these two squads who can pour on runs at anytime. Usually, I’m able to find a stat that I like to sway me one way or another when it comes to picking who is going to win. That being said, I’m going to side with the favorite in the Jays.

Player Prop: Zack Greinke over 4.5 strikeouts (-107)

This game has the potential to be a tremendous pitchers duel between Greinke and Ryu. Both pitchers have favorable over strikeout prop numbers at even money with -107 odds. However, we are going to with Greinke’s strikeout prop at over 4.5, which he has gone over in 6 out of 12 starts this season. The 37-year-old pitcher will be facing a Blue Jays’ lineup that is averaging 8.35 Ks this season, but 9.09 Ks per game at home. If Greinke can get in front of Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Marcus Semien, and Randal Grichuk in the count, it will make a world of difference.
