Chris Paul took over in the second half as the Phoenix Suns are set to advance to their first NBA Finals in nearly 30 years, and Patrick Beverley let his emotions take over.
As teams headed toward the bench for a timeout, Beverley gave Paul a fairly violent shove in the back resulting in an ejection.

The Clippers had cut the lead to seven late in the third quarter before Paul went on a personal 8-0 run to extend the lead. The Suns are well on their way to advancing to the NBA Finals leading 121-100 with less than 3 minutes to play. Paul leads all scorers with 41 points as Phoenix awaits the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks series.
