The 2021 NBA Playoffs have been a wild ride that will come to a close in a few weeks. The Conference Finals are reaching their peak and there’s a lot to digest in the betting market for NBA Champion. The constant injuries which have caused lines to move rapidly have opened up plenty of value in underdogs so far this postseason. We’re going to take a look a the latest championship odds on DraftKings Sportsbook and give some analysis.
First off, we’ll update you on each of the series going on. The Western Conference Finals looked to be coming to an end with the Phoenix Suns up 3-1 entering Game 5 on Monday. Now things aren’t as clear. The Los Angeles Clippers pulled off an easy road win to make the series 3-2 entering Wednesday night with Game 6 on tap. The Clippers are at home with plenty of momentum and the Suns seem a bit lost on defense. If LA can force Game 7, all bets are off. This is pretty important considering the Clippers have the worst odds to win it all and the Suns the best odds.
In the Eastern Conference Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks appeared to be in control until the madness in Game 4 on Tuesday night. The Atlanta Hawks came out firing and appeared in control despite an injury to PG Trae Young (foot). After halftime, the Bucks made a run behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, who would soon leave the game with a hyperextended left knee, putting his status for the rest of the series in doubt. We don’t know if Antetokounmpo will be healthy enough to return for Game 5 on Thursday, giving the Hawks a legit shot at advancing with the series 2-2.
