The Western Conference Finals shifts back to Los Angeles for Game 6 on Wednesday night with the Phoenix Suns leading the Los Angeles Clippers 3-2. The Clips are coming off a big 116-102 win over the Suns in Phoenix on Monday night. Paul George carried LA with 41 points in a dominant performance, shooting 75 percent from the floor. The Clips got things done on the defensive end, holding everyone not named Devin Booker in check.
Phoenix will need someone to step up behind Booker, perhaps Deandre Ayton, who had a clear mismatch with the Clippers playing small ball in Game 5. Instead, Ayton only got 9 field goal attempts and finished with 10 points despite Ivica Zubac being out. Jae Crowder and Mikal Bridges were non-factors on both ends of the court. That will need to change for the Suns to close the series out and avoid heading back to the desert for Game 7 on Friday.
