We have a loaded 15-game schedule in the majors on Wednesday, which means there are still multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 10 games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.
Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.
Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Wednesday, June 30th.
Mariners vs. Blue Jays, 7:07 p.m. ET
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ($5,900)
Marcus Semien ($5,600)
Randal Grichuk ($4,200)
The Toronto Blue Jays erupted for nine runs in Tuesday night’s series opener against the Seattle Mariners and should have a favorable matchup on Wednesday night. The Blue Jays will be going up against Justus Sheffield. The southpaw has been up and down this season with a 5-7 record and 5.69 ERA. The 25-year-old is not great on the road (1-4, 6.39), which is great news for the Jays.
Toronto second baseman Marcus Semien is a must-start in this team stack as he’s locked in at the plate. In his last six games, the veteran infielder is hitting .357/.379/.679 with 1 HR, 8 RBI, and 6 doubles. He’s also hitting .400 with a home run in 5 career at-bats against the 25-year-old Sheffield.
Mets vs. Braves, 7:20 p.m. ET
Ronald Acuna Jr. ($6,100)
Freddie Freeman ($5,400)
Austin Riley ($3,900)
Another game where we could see a ton of runs scored is between the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total currently set at 9. We are going to go with the Braves as our team stack as they prepare to face Mets starter David Peterson.
Peterson has not pitched well on the road this season with a 0-3 record and 7.03 ERA in eight starts. Additionally, opponents are hitting .287 against Peterson away from Citi Field. Lefties have had some success against the Mets’ starter, hitting .274 with 2 HRs. This would lead us to play Freddie Freeman, who has recorded a hit in five out of his last six games and averaging 9.5 FPPG.
Royals vs. Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET
Whit Merrifield ($5,700)
Salvador Perez ($5,200)
Michael A. Taylor ($2,300)
To wrap-up our DFS team stacks for Wednesday’s main slate, we are going to go back to the Kansas City Royals and Boston Red Sox. On Tuesday, we highlighted a Red Sox team stack, which performed well, scoring 40 points (Bogaerts, Martinez, Verdugo).
But for today, we are going to switch things up and pick the Royals. Kansas City should be able to score some runs against Red Sox starter Martin Perez, who has a 6.00 ERA in nine starts at Fenway this season. Outside of the big named sluggers on the Royals, outfielder Michael A. Taylor is a great value play. The veteran outfielder scored 31 DKFP on Tuesday night and had 14 DKFP in the series opener Monday night.
