The Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens open the 2021 Stanley Cup Final on Monday, June 28, and it will be a special one. This marks the final year of the the television deal NBC took over in 2006.

Game 1 and Game 2 of the 2021 Stanley Cup Final will air on cable at NBC Sports Network. The remainder of the series will air on broadcast TV at NBC as long as the series lasts. The puck drops on Games 1 through 6 at just after 8 p.m. ET. If the series goes to Game 7, the puck will drop for that game just after 7 p.m.

Starting with the 2021-22 season, the NHL is moving its television deal to a combination of ABC, ESPN, and TNT. This past spring, the NHL signed a pair of seven-year deals with Disney and Turner Sports to split up coverage of the next seven seasons. Both will air regular season and playoff games, but the Stanley Cup Final will alternate each year. In even years (2022, 2024, 2026, 2028), the Stanley Cup Final will air on ABC. In odd years (2023, 2025, 2027), it will air on either TBS or TNT.

Here’s the full schedule for this year’s Stanley Cup Final.
