Clippers vs. Suns DraftKings Free $5K pool picks for Game 5

We go over each category and give predictions for DraftKings pool for Game 5 of the Clippers-Suns series in the 2021 Western Conference Finals.

Will DeAndre Ayton have another huge game on the boards?

The Phoenix Suns are one win away from reaching the 2021 NBA Finals when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5. The Clippers will once again be without Kawhi Leonard, who is sidelined due a knee injury. Phoenix has only lost one game at home this postseason.

Below is a look at a number of predictions ahead of Monday’s game for the Free $5K DraftKings Pools - Playoff Edition (LAC-PHO).

Clippers vs. Suns Game 5 pool picks

Which team will cover the spread? Suns -5.5 or Clippers +5.5

The Clippers have kept each game close outside of their Game 3 victory. Los Angeles is the pick here even if the Suns end up taking the game. Phoenix has won its three games in the series by a combined 11 points.

How many total points will be scored? Over/Under 214.5

Game 4 was a disaster offensively, but the previous three contests featured more offense. Two of those games went under this total after the over hit in Game 1. It appears both defenses have figured out how to contain the other team, but they’ve also been aided by poor shooting. The under is the safer play.

Which team will reach the 15-point mark first in the 1st Quarter? Suns, Clippers or Neither

The Clippers need to win to stay alive in the series. Expect them to come out firing and hit the 15-point threshold first. Phoenix’s shooters could get hot early, but Los Angeles is the pick here.

Which team will make more 3-point field goals? Suns or Clippers

The Clippers have won this category in every single game despite being down 3-1. There’s no reason to think the Suns will suddenly make more triples. The three-ball has kept Los Angeles in each game, but Phoenix has been more resilient in the waning minutes.

Will both Chris Paul and Paul George record a double-double? Yes or No

Paul is averaging 16.5 points and 9.5 assists per game in the series. George is averaging 27.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. The chances both of them record a double-double is low, but the numbers make it seem close. Take “No” here.

Total points, rebounds and assists for Paul George? Over/Under 44.5

George has been a superstar with Leonard out, but he’s yet to break out for a major points performance in this series. Game 5 seems the perfect chance for him to deliver a massive outing. Take the over here.

Total points, rebounds and assists for Devin Booker? Over/Under 37.5

Booker struggled in Games 3 and 4, but the Suns need him to keep shooting. Take the over here as the young guard seems due for a big game.

Which team will win the 4th quarter? Suns or Clippers

The Clippers have kept things tight, but the Suns routinely execute better down the stretch. Phoenix won the fourth quarter in two of the four games so far, but is four points in Games 2 and 3 away from making it a clean sweep. The Suns are better late in games and are the pick here.
