Moneyline pick, best player prop for A’s vs. Giants on Sunday

The Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants are set to complete a three-game series on Sunday to wrap up the weekend and the matchup will begin at 4:05 ET at Oracle Park. The Giants have won five games straight and are looking to complete a three-game sweep against the Athletics. It’s natural that San Francisco is a heavy favorite, but we’ll take a look at the best betting options at DraftKings Sportsbook here.

Moneyline pick: Giants -157

Oakland has had no problem generating offense and entered Sunday just outside of the top 10 in run production. However, Cole Irvin is a wild card as the Athletics’ starting pitcher. The A’s are 4-0 with Irvin in June but dropped five straight with him starting before that hot streak. Irvin has given up at least four runs in six of his last 10 games. We like San Francisco’s odds against a pitcher that’s given up 38 earned runs.

Player Prop: Matt Olson over 0.5 runs (+115)

Olson has been outstanding at the plate this year and is batting .296 with 20 home runs and 53 RBIs. He’s crossed home plate 50 times this season. He’s scored 19 runs in 23 games this month, so getting to 20 (or even higher) on Sunday certainly doesn't seem like a reach.
