We go over some of the best betting options for Saturday’s matchup between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox.

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox will play Game 2 of their three-game series at 7:15 p.m. ET. Jordan Montgomery will be on the mound for the Yankees, while the Red Sox will start Nathan Eovaldi. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Yankees vs. Red Sox, 7:15 p.m. ET, FOX

Moneyline pick: Yankees +108

The Red Sox snapped their two-game losing skid and the Yankees’ two-game winning streak with a 5-3 victory Friday night at Fenway Park. The Sox will try to ride the momentum into tonight’s nationally televised contest with Eovaldi on the mound. The veteran starting pitcher has been solid season with a 7-4 record and 3.90 ERA in 15 starts. However, his ERA goes up at home to 4.29, but opponents are hitting .256 at the plate. In his last three starts at Fenway, the Red Sox have a record of 2-1.

The last time Eovaldi faced off against the Yankees on June 4, he only gave up 8 hits (1 HR), 1 earned run, and produced 7 strikeouts in 6.0 IP. In 10 games versus NYY, Eovaldi is 2-2 with an ERA of 3.30. If the veteran pitcher can give the BoSox a quality start, then they should be in great shape against Montgomery.

The Yankees starting pitcher is 3-1 with a 4.03 ERA this season, but his ERA increases to 5.71 on the road. But the good news is that Montgomery keeps New York in the game. They are 6-0 in his last six starts and 2-1 in his last three road starts. This game might end up coming down to the bullpens, which were both used extensively on Friday night. I’ll lean towards the Yankees to pull the upset.

Player Prop: Jordan Montgomery over 5.5 strikeouts (+100)

If the Yankees want to get the win, they’ll need another quality start from Montgomery, who has been reliable this season. Montgomery has gone over 5.5 strikeouts in 7 out of 14 starts this season, which includes 3 out of his last 4 outings. The 28-year-old starter will be going up against a Red Sox’s offense that is averaging 8.96 strikeouts per game and 8.34 Ks per game at home.
